Nagpur Test: England end day one at 199/5

Nagpur, Dec 13 (IANS) England were 199 for five at stumps on the opening day of the fourth cricket Test against India at the VCA Stadium in Jamtha here Thursday.

Nagpur, Dec 13 — England were 199 for five at stumps on the opening day of the fourth cricket Test against India at the VCA Stadium in Jamtha here Thursday.

Matt Prior and debutant Joe Root were at the crease on 34 and 31, respectively, as England batted for 97 overs through the day.

Ishant Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja took two wickets each for India.
