Why Anthony Davis Is the Perfect Power Forward for the Modern-Day NBA

Nike Basketball, Anthony Davis, Foot Locker And Mayor Mitch Landrieu Celebrate NOLA FOR LIFE Midnight Basketball Program
Think of all the power forwards in the league. It's an eclectic bunch. A lot of different skill sets and sizes, superstars and specialists alike. It's one of the league's deepest positions, trailing only point guard.  Now think of all those power forwards, and weed out all the players who can't do these two things simultaneously: protect the rim defensively and space the floor offensively. If they do one but not the other, toss them out.  All of the sudden the li ...

Jul 21 2014 1:55pm CDT | Source: Bleacher Report

At least, they shouldn't have one. A subtle, savvy offseason netted them a number of useful parts, all of which will aid their attempt to transform from Eastern Conference pests to full-fledged contenders. Yet it stil ...

Jul 20 2014 8:33pm CDT | Source: Bleacher Report

Jeremy Lin Visits Taipei

They remain extremely cautious in their search for a head coach. They're the only team in the NBA without one, despite having interviewed Byron Scott three times. Other names in the hunt include Mike Dunleavy and Kurt Rambis, but no one seems to have gained the same level of tract ...
