Tehran, Feb 23 (IANS) Iran claimed the freestyle title at the wrestling World Cup here.

Tehran, Feb 23 — Iran claimed the freestyle title at the wrestling World Cup here.

In the competitions held at Azadi Sports Complex here, Iran defeated Russia 6-1 in the gold medal match Friday, reports Xinhua.

In the bronze medal match, the United States beat Belarus 6-1.

Earlier Wednesday, Russia had claimed the Greco-Roman title by beating Iran.
