I am interested in almost everywhere in Europe, but I would prioritize: (1) good riding, (2) landscapes including mountains, valleys, and water features, (3) i ...

The Master and Margarita showed me just how easy it is to mess up a nation

Aug 19 2014 12:00pm CDT | Source: the guardian

I was teaching English (very badly), barely coping with temperatures of -15C and fighting a losing battle with the Russian language. This book made me realise I was not going to give up. And t ...

Spiritual sensations

Jul 23 2014 10:00pm CDT | Source: Spectator Magazine

Malevich was one of the f ...
