Nate Robinson is headed to the Mile High City.

Robinson reached an agreement with the Denver Nuggets for a two-year deal reportedly worth $4.03 million, per the Denver Post's Benjamin Hochman. The deal is for the bi-annual salary cap exception.

He tweeted his sentiments shortly thereafter, saying he will miss playing for the Chicago Bulls

"Chicago will always have a place in my heart I'm a miss all my teammates it was a treat playing along side of all of them stand up guys

"I know the nba is a Business but when u build friendships with guys on the team it's hard to say goodbye...Thanks again chitown one love"

Robinson's impending signing is a welcome relief for Nuggets management and fans, who have had to endure an offseason which saw the firing of 2013 NBA Coach of the Year George Karl as well as the departure of former general manager Masai Uriji to the Toronto Raptors, Andre Iguodala to the Golden State Warriors and Corey Brewer to the Minnesota Timberwolves

The Nuggets' latest acquisition should complement the signing of free agent forward-center J.J. Hickson, who played for the Portland Trail Blazers last season, to a three-year deal nearly two weeks ago.

Robinson is projected to see action at both guard spots, joining Andre Iguodala, Ty Lawson, Randy Foye and Evan Fournier in the Denver backcourt. As a member of the Nuggets, he will be reunited with his former New York Knicks teammates Danilo Gallinari and Wilson Chandler

He averaged 13.1 points and 4.4 assists last season with the Bulls.
