Fantasy cricket for CPL

Kingston (Jamaica), July 31 (IANS/CMC) TeamCricket.com, the world's largest fantasy cricket platform, will provide free Caribbean Premier league (CPL) fantasy cricket during the tournament.

Kingston (Jamaica), July 31 (IANS/CMC) TeamCricket.com, the world's largest fantasy cricket platform, will provide free Caribbean Premier league (CPL) fantasy cricket during the tournament.

CPL has launched Fantasy Cricket on its website at www.cplt20.com for fans around the world.

The gaming platform powered by TeamCricket.com will allow cricket fans to play during all the league.

Fans can choose their 11-player virtual dream team to play free every day and win a range of prizes such as team-autographed bats, T-shirts, tablets, and a flat screen TV.

"We've customised our platform for the Limacol Caribbean Premier League in order to offer free-to-play rooms and a wide range of prizes," said Ankush Gera, CEO of Junglee Games, the company behind TeamCricket.com.

"We think that the CPL is going to bring a new level of fun and entertainment to the T20 format, and we are excited to be a part of this unique tournament."

Fans can choose their 11-player virtual dream team free every day and win a range of prizes such as team-autographed bats, t-shirts, tablets, and a flat screen TV.

The CPL Fantasy Cricket application will have fantasy games for all of the 24 matches that will be played during the tournament.

"The Caribbean Premier League is all about entertainment, excitement and fun, which is why fantasy cricket is such a good fit for us," said Pete Russell, CPL Commercial Consultant.

"We know the teams are coming to play and "Now we've given the fans the chance to play for some amazing prizes. This is just another way that we're enhancing the CPL experience for everyone."

The CPL began on July 30 in Barbados and concludes on August 24 in Trinidad and Tobago.
