Toronto, Canada, September 01, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Calling all serious, moderate and casual sports fans: want to join a fun, safe, competitive and affordable league for ball hockey, dodgeball or volleyball? You're in luck this fall as registration is now open for Nation Leagues, a Toronto-based organization that offers players the chance to join men's, women's and co-ed leagues for various sports over the year.
Starting first, on September 16 and 17, is the men's ball hockey league. Originally created to combine the fun and youthful attributes of street hockey with the organizational benefits of a league, it's a great way to enjoy Canada's classic game with some friends or a team of new people. Games run on Monday and Tuesday, are 50 minutes long, and are played in a 3 on 3 format (not including goalies).
Next up is Nation League's co-ed dodgeball leagues, which begins on the 17th, 18th and 19th of September. Co-ed dodgeball offers players a fun, unconventional way to unwind after a long day, allowing them to get a great workout and some friendly competition in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. Games are played on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and in a 6 on 6 format with foam balls, and players can register individually or as a team.
Last on the list is the co-ed volleyball league, which provides players with a great way to get a total body workout while playing with friends; compete with others and enjoy a social environment. There are three levels available: recreational co-ed, for new and inexperienced teams; intermediate co-ed, for experienced teams; and intermediate plus co-ed, for very experienced teams. Rules vary depending on each league and games are played Thursdays and Fridays.
Each of these seasons runs 12 weeks long, until mid-December, and all of them offer some friendly competition, a great workout, and plenty of fun. Registration is open now, so pick your game, get your team together and sign up today.
