Los Angeles Kings center Jarret Stoll feels "a hundred percent" after having a seizure in early July.

Stoll told L.A. Kings Insider on September 3 that he's perfectly okay now and that what happened was not an issue.

"I feel fine. I feel a hundred percent. That's not an issue. I think it's more of an issue if people talk about it, and it's just one of those things that happened I wish didn't, but did.

"I'm just moving on looking forward to the start of the season. Medically cleared, all those things, had great doctors take care of me in terms of getting ready for camp and being cleared for play. So that's all taken care of."

Kings general manager Dean Lombardi told the Los Angeles Times that Stoll suffered a seizure on July 3. Lombardi had visited Stoll back then and was expected to be released within the same day.

He assured everyone on July 3 that Stoll was okay.

"Everything is okay. They've run some tests and they still had another one to run. The bottom line is that he's fine. Now the issue is what caused it."

Stoll suffered a concussion in Game 1 of the 2013 Western Conference Semifinals after getting hit by the San Jose Sharks' Raffi Torres. He sat out the rest of the series but was able to come back in time for the conference finals against the eventual Stanley Cup champions Chicago Blackhawks.

For his actions, Torres was suspended for the remainder of the series against the Kings.

The Los Angeles Times' Lisa Dillman writes this is the second concussion Stoll has suffered in his career. The first one occurred in the 2006-07 season when he was a member of the Edmonton Oilers.

An ESPN report dated July 3 says Lombardi "chose not to draw a connection between Stoll's concussion history and his seizure."

Stoll is entering his sixth season with Los Angeles and his 11th overall. For his career, he has registered 126 goals and 209 assists for a total of 335 points.

Jun 14 2014 8:09am CDT | Source: Bleacher Report

Alec Martinez emerged as the hero for the second straight series as the Los Angeles Kings completed their wild ride through the postseason with a win over the New York Rangers in Game 5. It marks the second championship in three seasons for the Kings. The series wasn't as lopsided as the 4-1 score would suggest. Los Angeles just played better in the crucial moments, which was a theme throughout the playoff ...

Consummate King Justin Williams Gets His Due with 2014 Conn Smythe Trophy

Jun 14 2014 12:33am CDT | Source: Bleacher Report

Mr. Game 7 is now the Conn Man. The Los Angeles Kings' Justin Williams was the perfect choice for the Conn Smythe Trophy as the 2014 Stanley Cup playoffs' most valuable player. He defined the Kings' difficult route to the final. Hard work. Clutch performances. Pure heart. He wasn't the leading scorer—although he finished just a point shy of teammate Anze Kopitar in that category. He wasn't the flashiest guy, leavin ...

Stanley Cup Final 2014: Must-Know Info for Kings vs. Rangers Game 5

Jun 13 2014 10:00am CDT | Source: Bleacher Report

The New York Rangers are still alive, as a 2-1 win at Madison Square Garden in Game 4 of the 2014 Stanley Cup Final has given the team new life. That said, it's not time to get comfortable. Down 3-1 to the Los Angeles Kings, the Rangers must continue to fight and play with the emotion that was evident in the Garden during Game 4. The series will move back to Los Angeles for Game 5, but the Rangers played pretty well there in the first two games of the series. They jumped out to 2-0 lead ...

Kings and Rangers basically down to survival

Jun 12 2014 9:42pm CDT | Source: Sportsnet.ca

LOS ANGELES — In a normal year, they might be golfing right now. Or spending time at the lake. Or travelling the world. They would certainly be paying the odd visit to the gym with a mind on being ready for training camps that are just three months away. Instead, members of the Los Angeles Kings and New York Rangers play on, continuing a season that must feel like it will never end. They are only assured of one more day — ...

Brown remains consistent captain for Kings

Jun 11 2014 3:03pm CDT | Source: Sportsnet.ca

NEW YORK — Dustin Brown is a couple of years older and might have some more grey hair than when the Los Angeles Kings won the Stanley Cup in 2012. According to his teammates, not much else has changed about their captain. "He’s a soft-spoken guy, he’s not going to be rah-rah-rah," defenceman Willie Mitchell said. "He has his own identity, and that’s what I really respect about him is that he doesn’t try and be someone he isn’t. He’s just himself ...
