When asked to confirm if he meant his tweet about fellow running back Knowshon Moreno of the Denver Broncos, Philadelphia Eagles halfback LeSean McCoy replied in the affirmative.

It's confirmed. Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy thinks Knowshon Moreno of the Denver Broncos "sucks."

Brian McCardle of Philly.com wrote on Oct. 9 that McCoy "did not have any regrets" about the controversial tweet he wrote about Moreno.

McCoy said,"I don't want to talk about the past. It is what it is. But what said is what I meant."

He tweeted "Knowshon sucks" on Oct. 7 in response to a previous tweet written by ESPN First Take's Skip Bayless, who wrote,"Peyton is doing what Peyton always does. But Knowshon is KILLING the Cowboys."

Moreno fired back with a tweet of his own, citing McCoy's Twitter handle, @CutonDime25.

"Glad @CutonDime25 was watching our game tonight. Great team win, lets keep rolling. #5-0 #LetHatersHate #ShotsWereFiredButNoOneGotHit"

McCardle notes Moreno and McCoy were both selected in the 2009 NFL Draft, with the former going 12th overall while the latter went 53rd.

While McCoy doesn't think so highly of Moreno, he praised Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Doug Martin.

"I just wanted to say I think Doug Martin is a heck of a running back. He's one of the better running backs, for sure."

The Eagles (2-3) and Buccaneers (0-4) square off in Week 6 of the 2013 NFL season.

Drew Brees Got Suplexed by Captain Munnerlyn

Sep 21 2014 2:20pm CDT | Source: The Big Lead

Drew Brees got suplexed by Minnesota’s Captain Munnerlnn, and briefly, it looked like the Saints would have to punt in a surprisingly close game in the 3rd quarter. But no. The NFL protects QBs, so Munneryln was called for “unnecessary roughness” on the play, and the Saints drive was extended. It probably helped his cause that Brees flipped out after the sack, pushing and chasing Munnerlyn. That’s a pretty bad call. Naturally, the Saints ended up scoring a TD on the d ...

Redskins vs. Eagles: Live Score and Analysis for Philadelphia

Sep 21 2014 9:18am CDT | Source: Bleacher Report

The Philadelphia Eagles will look to improve to 3-0 Sunday afternoon when they host the Washington Redskins in a game that will be centered largely on the return of eccentric playmaking wide receiver DeSean Jackson to Philly. It's been widely speculated all week as to whether Jackson will suit up, but it appears as if he will: Decision is ultimately the team's when it comes to playing DeSean Jackson, but as far as Jackson is concerned? ...

Washington vs. Eagles 2014: Time, TV schedule, radio and how to watch online

Philadelphia looks to continue its winning ways against an NFC East counterpart. The Philadelphia Eagles will play host to Washington on Sunday afternoon at Lincoln Financial Field, aiming for a 3-0 mark. Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 3: Washington vs. Eagles

Sep 21 2014 7:08am CDT | Source: SBNation

Is a combined 3-1 record really impressive when two of those wins come against Jacksonville? Both the Washington Redskins and the Philadelphia Eagles enter Week 3 relatively happy with their season so far, with a combined record of 3-1. Of course, two of their three combined wins came against the Jacksonville Jaguars, so maybe half-credit applies here. Regardless, the two teams play each other in Philadelphia at 1 p.m. ET Sunday. In a game t ...

Fantasy Football Week 3: Last-Minute Stat Predictions Before Sunday's Games

Sep 21 2014 6:30am CDT | Source: Bleacher Report

It's time for another full-scale panic Sunday in the fantasy football world. Unless you had Matt Ryan, Devin Hester, Julio Jones or Atlanta's defense on Thursday night, you've got to start racking up points in a hurry to put the pressure on the opposition.  Making matters even worse, especially this week, is the number of star players who are either dealing with injuries or not playing because they're hurt. Hopefully ...

Start Em Sit Em Week 3: Making the Call on Fringe Running Backs

Sep 20 2014 4:25pm CDT | Source: Bleacher Report

Deciphering which running backs to plug into the starting lineup is a daunting task for any fantasy owner. After all, this isn't exactly a deep position, and that leads to many fringe starters getting the nod on a weekly basis. Some calls are rather easy. If LeSean McCoy, DeMarco Murray, Giovani Bernard or other similar ball-carriers reside on your roster, please don't overthink things, just start them. However, other decisions can be rather nerve racking. Should you start Trent R ...

NFL Picks Week 3: Examining Recent Odds and Expert Predictions

Sep 18 2014 11:00am CDT | Source: Bleacher Report

We say every year with the NFL that its impact is lost, but the unpredictable nature of this sport is a large part of what keeps us coming back. The difference between a win and a loss is so slim that winning a Super Bowl can come down to a fingertip.  Imagine being an oddsmaker having to set betting lines for the NFL each week. It's impossible to do with any certainty because you have injuries and trends from previous games that influence your thinki ...

Steven Jackson's Updated 2014 Fantasy Outlook Heading into Week 3

Sep 17 2014 10:30pm CDT | Source: Bleacher Report

Fantasy football at its very core is about risk-reward assessment. Peyton Manning is the best week-to-week quarterback because he consistently allows owners to reap rewards without much risk. Same goes for Jimmy Graham, Calvin Johnson and LeSean McCoy. But leagues are almost never settled by the very best players; they're settled by the teams that are able to hit big in the middle rounds. Smart owners rolled the dice on Josh Gordon late in drafts last season; less s ...
