Gerolsteiner Sparkling Mineral Water Hosts New York’s First Slacklining Expo and Training Clinics

Slacklining is the act of balancing along a narrow, dynamic length of webbing low to the ground and is a fun, new, and accessible thrill sport. New Yorkers can try out their balance-and-bounce skills at the Get Balanced - Slacklining 101 Expo. This free event with training clinics is being hosted by Gerolsteiner Sparkling Mineral Water on Saturday, October 26, 2013, from 12:00 – 4:00 pm at Hudson River Park’s Pier 84, (at West 44th Street), New York City.

Manhattan, NY, October 14, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Slacklining, a thrill sport, is the act of balancing on a dynamic one-two inch wide length of flat webbing that is low to the ground. It’s like a marriage of tightrope-walking and trampoline acrobatics. Experienced slackliners defy gravity with their tricks. New Yorkers can try out their balance-and-bounce skills at the free Get Balanced - Slacklining 101 Expo, on Saturday, October 26, 2013, from 12:00 – 4:00 pm at Hudson River Park’s Pier 84, (at West 44th Street), New York City.

Sponsored by Gerolsteiner Sparkling Mineral Water, the world’s leading brand of natural, ‘balanced’ mineral water, the expo will feature free professional aerobatic exhibits every hour, hosted by Gibbon Slacklines, the slackline pro’s first choice in equipment.
