Huntsville, AL, February 25, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Eye-Scout, LLC located in Huntsville, Alabama is making a strong push to be a leader in the implementation of the Internet of Things into professional sports.

Eye-Scout is currently in production of an update to its already revolutionary technology that will make use of the newest M2M (Machine to Machine) IofT (Internet of Things) infrastructure and will link professional sports organizations like never before. Gone are the days of paper reporting, large 3 ring binders and dry erase boards.

Eye-Scout CEO Steven Burkett states "This is an exciting time for us because we believe in staying on the forefront of emerging technologies." He goes on to explain "It's time for professional sports organizations to have real-time connections with their scouting personnel, their mobile devices, and the information being collected and Eye-Scout can do it."

Burkett started Eye-Scout in 2010 in an effort to help professional sports the same way he has helped the United States Army, only a few teams have started to catch on but there are still many more that need to jump ahead of the competition by getting on board with “Big Data” and positioning themselves to be a leader in the “Internet of Things” (IofT) revolution.

The definition for Internet of Things from Cisco (CSCO) is “The Internet of Things (IoT) is the network of physical objects accessed through the Internet, as defined by technology analysts and visionaries. These objects contain embedded technology to interact with internal states or the external environment. In other words, when objects can sense and communicate, it changes how and where decisions are made, and who makes them.” According to ABI Research more than 30 billion devices will be wirelessly connected to the Internet of Things (Internet of Everything) by 2020.

If the NFL and other professional sports want to stay ahead and make use of the advanced analytics that comes with IofT then they need to start working with Eye-Scout which is at the forefront in the development of Internet of Things technology and analytics for professional sports.
