Butterfly Sponsors the 2014 Canadian Junior & Cadet Open Tournament

Wilson, NC, March 28, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Butterfly is proud to sponsor the 2014 Canadian Junior & Cadet Open table tennis tournament scheduled for April 10 & 13, 2014 in Markham, Ontario.

Organized by Table Tennis Canada and directed by Yan Bin Yuan, this ITTF Global Junior Circuit stop has eighty-four junior and cadet table tennis athletes, from seven countries, registered to compete. They will be competing in eight Junior and Cadet aged Teams and Singles events for a share of $4,800 USD in total prizes.

On the entry list are thirteen Butterfly sponsored players from Canada and the United States. These young, outstanding athletes include Jeremy Hazin (CAN), Alexander Bu (CAN), Moxi Guo (CAN), Kanak Jha (USA), Kunal Chodri (USA), Victor Liu (USA), Jack Wang (USA), Theodore Tran (USA), Anqi Luo (CAN), Diane Jiang (USA), Crystal Wang (USA), Emilie Lin (USA), and Prachi Jha (USA).

The venue for the 2014 Butterfly Canadian Junior & Cadet Open is the Canadian Chinese Table Tennis Association, which is a non-profit table tennis club located at 1181 Dension Street in Markham, Ontario.

In addition to the Butterfly Canadian Junior & Cadet Open, table tennis will be bountiful during this week in the Toronto area. The Road To Nanjing 2014 Series - North America takes place April 7th & 8th and the Qualifier for 2014 Youth Olympics – North America is April 9th, both in Mississauga, Ontario.
