Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2016 Edition Features Gigi Hadid

Sports Illustrated has revealed the first models to be featured in the highly anticipated new Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. Now Gigi Hadid has been added to this list.

The magazine has kept the models featured in the 2016 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition a big secret. Only UFC fighter Ronda Rousey got revealed earlier this year. This week the magazine finally breaks its silence about the models showing off the hottest new bikinis.

Gigi Hadid hit a career high last fall when she walked the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2015. She was joined by her best model friend Kendall Jenner at the lingerie show. It is a possibility that Kendall Jenner is also joining Gigi Hadid in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit magazine. Kendall has massive social media power that would be very beneficial for the Swimsuit Edition. She commands 47.5 million followers on Instagram alone.

Besides Gigi Hadid the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2016 Edition will feature Nina Agdal, Erin Heatherton, Emily DiDonato, Chanel Iman, Hannah Ferguson and Irina Shayk.

Also back will be last year’s cover model Hannah Davis. Sports Illustrated will be leaking more models and celebrities in the next days until the release of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2016 Edition.

The biggest secret of the 2016 Swimsuit Edition is which model will be on the cover. SI will again reveal the cover at a special event. Last year the magazine revealed the Swimsuit cover model at the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

The 2016 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition will be released on Monday February 15 in print, digital, video, mobile and social media programming. There will be again special cover unveiling event.

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit franchise reaches more than 70 million US adults annually and more men 18 to 34 than the Super Bowl.

Earlier this month, Sports Illustrated released the final teaser video for the 2016 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.
