Olympics 2012 Medal Count before Day 4

China already managed to win six gold medals at the 2012 Summer Olympics after the first weekend of competitions.

It is Day 4 at the Summer Olympics 2012 in London. Let's take another look at the Olympic 2012 medal count. China is still in the lead with 17 medals comprised of 9 gold, 5 sliver and 3 bronze medals. The United States has the same number of medals but 4 less gold medals. It looks like the United States and China are going to battle it out for the win. France is a distant third with only 7 medals.

Swimmer Yannick Agnel from France is leader of the individual medal count with 2 gold medals.

This week the medal count will start to become more telling as tons of events are scheduled. Check out the latest trending Olympic news on Sport Balla
